Fix your ball toss!

May 13, 2014

Many beginners and intermediate players struggle with the serve due to having a faulty ball toss.

Here's a quick tip to fix your ball toss from going over your head.

Problem: Erratic ball toss

Cause: Most players will usually lean back or bend their knees in the backswing.

Solution: Simplify the process.

Step 1: stand evenly balanced with the weight equally distributed on your feet. Don't rock your body at least in the beginning.

Step 2: Lean slightly forward as you release the ball. By leaning forward you will have your weight moving forward which will help keep your ball toss from going behind you.

Hope you find the tip helpful. Feel free to email me with any questions that you may have.
